Golmaal 3: Kareena to play as 'Tomboy'
Kareena Kapoor for the first time will be portraying a tomboyish character in her upcoming movie Golmaal 3, which is directed by Rohit Shetty. When the director was writing the story of this movie, he thought of giving Kareena’s glamorous image a break and offer an unusual role. He wanted her to be a part of the boy’s gang, which comprises of Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Kunal Khemu, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade.
A close source revealed, “Kareena will sport casual wear in this film. No designer dresses, shoes and bags for her. She will play a badass who spouts abusive tapori language and rides around on a bike. She will be seen doingdadagiri like boys in the gang.” When asked about the role, Bebo she said, “My look in Golmaal 3 is non-glamorous. It is young and grunge, keeping the weather and look of Goa in mind. I play a tomboy but with a feminine touch. Though I will be using tapori language, it will not be too abusive or vulgar. It will be well in tone with my persona.”
When asked was about this news Rohit Shetty, he confirmed and said, “I wanted to give Kareena a new image with this movie. She is one of the boys in the film, and will be sporting minimal make-up. She is talking with Manish Malhotra and they will come up with the right look for the part. I have tried not to make her use too much foul language or abusive lingo. Her whole look and hair will be undergoing a thorough change. Her character in the film is not that rich. We are looking forward to teaching Bebo some exciting language. She has already become a goonda now.”

!! ATTENTION !!
Google’s Smart TV might get Released this Week
After ruling the web, Google has stepped into various consumer electronics manufacturing, including Android phones (with HTC) and now Google Smart TV. It’s being said that Google might release the much awaited smart TV this week at the Google I/O developer conference in San Francisco. Google has joined hands with Sony, one of the global leaders in manufacturing and retailing consumer electronics.
Google Smart TV will get all it’s hardware from Sony while Google will be focusing on the features and specs of the TV alone. Apparently it’s assumed that the Google Smart TV will be able to provide movies (by Netflix, CinemaNow & Vudu), Internet Radio channels, access to online photo services with social networking features such as Twitter and Facebook.
The Atom processor will be provided by Intel group and Logitech has taken the duty of designing and manufacturing the Smart TV remote control. The TV will work on a custom version of Android OS, called “Dragonpoint”. Google might also ask developers to develop apps for Google Smart TV and if this happens, the idiot box will get a whole new avatar.

Ever since her stay in LA, Mallika Sherawat is speaking in anew accent these days. The hot-bod actress is also gung-ho about the fact that she witnessed a great fan following at the Cannes recently.
Check this link to see Mallika & Divya at Cannes on fire!
Mallika is making the right noises these days. Though in a new accent. The actress is talking openly about her film HISSS which is one of her most awaited films of this year.
It is a well known fact that Mallika talks only when she has something to say. Otherwise she does not care what the media writes about her. This attitude has made her one of the select few celebs who can live on their own terms rather than be led by the so called trend of public relations.

Katrina Kaif seems to have learnt the Rajneeti of the filmdom
Katrina Kaif surely has proved her acting caliber on the silver screen. From her first film Boom to Rajneeti She has experimented with her look, performances and above all she has improved dancing as well as her speech skills too. Undoubtedly, the directors and the producers have broken the myth that she is just a glam doll. The credit nonetheless goes to Prakash Jha for his film Rajneeti in which Kats has taken the trouble of dubbing the dialogues in pure Hindi.
So how was it working with Prakash Jha who believes in hard hitting subjects with purely Hindi dialogues?
Yes! It was not difficult for me I can mug up ten pages at a stretch. I have an accent problem but I’ve tried to manage it well. In fact, when I sat down to surf some of the real characters from the political arena; I thought that in the quest of getting into some real political character, I was going wrong. Hence I decided to follow my reel character only. As a modern contemporary youth, I have tried to get the body language of Priyanka Gandhi. But by no means can you compare my reel character to any living political characters. You guys are just comparing me to Sonia Gandhi because I too belong to an English mother, with fair skin and black hair which is not really so.” Quips Katrina.
You came into this industry fresh, who do you give credit to as your ‘Godfather’?
Ya! I am not one belonging to the Bollywood industry. Everyone has a God Father. I have not one but many Godfathers who may have helped me attain the kind of success I have achieved in this short span of my career. Salman and Akshay Kumar have definitely helped me get to the horizon. I would also credit the blessings showered upon me by the almighty God which is why I have been able to achieve success.
It’s the survival of the fittest. And you are on the top of the female lead stars. How do you feel about it?
I feel good to be topping the list. If this comparison brings me on the top of the list why will I not like ranking. Human tendency is such that we love to be number one. Why will I not like the number game? But there ought to be a fair competition. We need not pursue wrong ways to just boost up our career. Our work needs to speak more than our action/words. If you say I’m topping the list in the number one game then I really feel elated.
Is it true that you are essaying Madhubala’s character in the biopic on Kishore Kumar?
I am open to doing good films. Being in the profession I need to know the script, if it is going to work or not. Yes! I do discuss it with my close people but the final decision rests with me. I am in the process of sorting out the details with UTV Productions. Nothing has been finalized as yet. I feel the media is in a bit of a hurry to publish news even before confirming it, which was not the case earlier.
What profession would you have pursued if you weren’t a part of the Bollywood industry?
I have always been a day dreamer. Probably because I had a sense of insecurity as we have been wanderers. We never were stationed in one place. I always loved to be a fire-fighter also performing stunts would always fancy me. I love to live in a castle built world.
You seem to be very excited about working with Hrithik, is it true?
Yes! I’m very excited about working with Hrithik tentatively in a movie titled Zindagi Mile Na Dobara. This film is surely going to be a path-breaking and a youthful film. I am sure it will be a brilliant film. My role is that of a free spirited girl. I'm really looking forward to work with Hrithik Roshan. Although it is a difficult character but I will surely be able to perform to the best of my ability.
How do you manage to stay in such a great shape?
I hate doing regular gym. I feel good exercise twice or thrice a week only. I remember how my trainer of Tees Maar Khan made me do rigorous exercises. But now I just tell him to schedule it only twice a week. I believe in maintaining a proper diet. I maintain myself by following the right kind of lifestyle.

Yash Raj Films titled its next film directed by Parmeet Sethi as Badmaash Company. The film stars Shahid Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, who are certainly a pair to watch out for. They are supported by Meiyang Chang and Vir Das. The Movie will be released in Month of May 2010 on the date 7th.
“BADMAASH COMPANY” is an extraordinary story set in the 90’s in middle class Mumbai of four young friends who get together to start a company. Their business is an instant hit because they find a way to beat the system.
By doing all the wrong things’ the right way!
‘Lamhaa’ will see the Bong beauty Bipasha Basu in a completely new makeover and style. The glam doll plays a modern politically active Kashmiri girl named ‘Aziza’ and has tried not only burkha but also green contact lenses for the role. The film has her in plain salwar kurtas with PT shoes, and a dupatta on her head.
Talking about her looks in the film, Bips says, “She is not dainty so don’t expect a Kashmir-ki-kali kind of look. I also wore lots of printed, colourful dupattas with plain earthy-coloured salwar kurtas. Everything was loose and oversized. I could wear nothing fitted in this film.”
Both burkha and green contact lenses are for the first time for Bips who says, “I wear green contact lenses for the film. I am used to wearing lenses in films but I have to say the green lenses looked really good. Rocky got me the burkha. I have never worn it ever before.”
Rocky S, who has designed Bipasha’s look in the film says, “Since the character is a complex strong individual my motive was to portray Aziza’s essence to the tee. My research included a lot of intricate detailing taking into consideration the kind of fabrics and colours that are preferred by Kashmiri locals.
Tweed phirans in dull earthy tones along with kurtas were used to show a clear distinction over the seasons through autumn to winter. Bipasha’s accessories and burkhas were authentically purchased from Kashmiri shops in and around Lal Chowk and Dal Lake.”
